I think that the knowledge about being made in God’s image makes me feel renewed with hope. This is because I know that I can replicate the characteristics of God through my good works/service. Being humble, acknowledging my sins and not repeating my past sins keep me close to God. My closeness with God becomes stronger through prayer and when I receive the body and blood of my Lord Jesus Christ. I think that my image seems to become better when I find my identity in association with God. This is because I understand that I have been chosen by God to be God’s deserving child and do the righteous things in life.
